About Massage by Alina
My name is Alina, and I was born in Ukraine and grew up in Portland, Oregon. I found my love for sports and fitness. I played Soccer, Indoor Cycled and ran Track and Field, where I finished fifth in the state for discus throwing. I also set multiple school records for weightlifting. After high school, I went to Portland state university to pursue physical therapy but ended up finding a passion for massage therapy, where I received my training at Everest Institute in 2016.
In the meantime, I had two littles, Sasha and Bentley, who are now 4 and 6 years old. I have focused my time on learning sports massage and deep tissue work. My love for fixing people after injuries lead her to work alongside medical professionals treating patients after car accidents. I opened my practice in 2018 in Portland and moved to Colorado to work with a room recovery center, where I was excited to continue working with athletes.
At the moment, I am working on my personal training certification and nutrition coaching. When I moved to Colorado, I was learning to outdoor cycle. I recently moved to Gaylord, MI and helping people there. I am now licensed in three states. In my free time, I love to hike with my dog named Charlie, explore lakes and rivers, and any and all trails on the mountains on a snowboard.
